Intermediate Brass

If you’ve had some experience playing but want tobeginnerbrass2 improve, Intermediate Brass is for you!

Our Intermediates Brass Ensemble is aimed Warwick students who have had limited playing experience or who might be a bit rusty. We offer including informal tuition, and provision of instruments all for free!

Led by our Beginners’ Coordinator, Tomos, and assisted by a team of volunteers from the society, the group welcomes any students, with limited musical experience, to learn to play a brass instrument in a relaxed and fun environment. As well as developing a skill for life, many former members have also progressed quickly enough to join the Brass Band whilst still studying.

The ensemble rehearse weekly as a group, and individual tuition is offered in the form of short mentoring sessions with a member of the Brass Band. Society owned instruments are also provided, from a choice of; Cornet, Tenor Horn, Euphonium, Trombone, and Tuba.
Rehearsals for the 2017/18 academic year will take place at 4:00 – 4:45pm on Wednesdays in the Westwood Music Centre.
