Our ensembles are all unauditioned and are open to students of all courses from the University of Warwick. Since the University has never offered a degree in music, members study a wide range of subjects.

The society has in excess of 50 members, and new members are always welcome. You can join at any rehearsal or at the Fresher’s Fair early in the first term – membership costs just £4.00 per year. We even have a selection of instruments available for our members to use, free of charge.

Rehearsals take place during term time in the Arts Centre Ensemble Room, Wednesdays 5:00 – 7:30pm for Brass Band and Fridays 5:00 – 7:30pm for Symphonic Brass Ensemble.

One of the most important aspects of any society is the social life, and the Brass Society is no exception. Our social calendar is perhaps the most action-packed of any Music Centre Society at Warwick and includes frequent pub crawls, curries, quiz and games nights, sports, and most importantly the annual tours.
